Only the rip fence and resaw guide comes with this product. Talk about deceptive advertising. The picture of this product shows both fences. Bummer. You would at least tell a person that the other guide is not included.
I purchased this instead of the blue high price non-Jet model because it hooks at the back of the fence rail as well as on the front. Took about an hour to install, the only hitch make sure the brace that holds the front rail on, is mounted on the front side of the table, not the back as the instructions kind of indicate. Its not whiz bang, gee golly but it works and its accurate.
fence guid is alluminum. half hour to 45 min.
Saw a review about this fence and its use on a ridgid and purchased it. Everything bolts right on to the saw.
Since Ridgid discontinued their rip fence, i searched for other alternitives. Modification took approx.
However the fence guide itself has to be reduced in length by about 1 inch and then a new hole was needed to be drilled to allow for the back rail guide. Once that was done normal adjustments more set and i was ready to work.
with a drill press and metal cut off saw and basic precision tools, scale square, etc. very good product
I would have given it 5 stars but the resaw guide is not very tall and I will have to make my own. I love the guide and don't think that I would give it up. It was easy to install and adjust and has not needed a reset. I have used it so many ways and it have not given me a bad cut.
This same fence came standard on my 21" 3 HP Jet bandsaw. I've had it for over a year now and it has worked well for me. Granted, I don't use my band saw a lot and I never had a fence on my 14" bandsaw , so I've nothing to compare it to except the Beismeyer on my table saw. It' not as hefty as that, but is sturdy and accurate and for that price I think a good buy.
